Do I have a brain tumor?

I have had frequent headaches ever since I can remember. I got my first migraine when I about 11 and I get one about once every year since then - they're so bad I sometimes have to go to the ER. Ever since I was young I'd get headaches about every 2 or 3 days I'd say, but I can never remember ibuprofen or advil helping my headaches. (maybe thats because my mom started giving me ibuprofen a lot at such a young age so i grew a tolerance?) A few months back i got a sinus infection and had headache, ear pressure, eye pain etc. I took antibiotics and it improved but i had the feeling it never quite went away, but then i kind of forgot about it & just got used to it. I have a head ache every single day now - usually gets worse throughout the day but it still hurts in the morning. My eyes get strained & store really easily lately too. Too much light hurts but too much darkness causes eye strain. I've also noticed i have constant ringing in both ears and a pulsating noise in my right ear too. My neck always feels stiff as well and the pain goes up into my head. My question is, could I have something like a brain tumor thats been growing since I was little? Is this probably just my sinus infection that never went away? (but dont they usually go away after several weeks & can they cause ringing in ears?) Or could this be rebound headaches from taking Aleve & Excedrin lately? Please let me know what you guys think, I'm getting worried.

sorry another thing- I've wondered if all these headaches are due to something wrong with my neck or my spine? I've had back pain and a stiff neck for years now too and I've heard spine problems can cause ringing in the ears and pressure in eyes?

Hello Barbara, your symptoms sound exactly like mine. i have had headaches from about 6 Years old, i clearly remember falling over on the school playing field after running and catching my foot in a hole.my first migraine was when i started my periods at about 11. I have been plagued with mostly constant headaches ever since (I'm 67 now) I have tried everything to help with the pain, changing medication regularly. im on beta blockers, to help prevent migraines, painkillers to help with the pain, but mostly nothing works for very long. like you i have wondered if the cause could be something sinister, but its not. im sorry you too are going through life with this very nasty disablement as me. people dont bother asking me how my headaches are as they know they are always there.it makes life a struggle.but you' re not alone. Take care and best wishes. xxx

Your symptoms are all just like mine. I have been seen by every specialist there is . I recently came across something after dealing with this for the past year EVERYDAY , its called binocular vision dysfunction. I have posted about it already but maybe you havent seen it . Google....binocular vision dysfunction eye center in raleigh north carolina. There is a quiz to take on the website. I have never had eye problems until this started a year ago. They called me back and said the Eye Dr says it really seems i have this disordee i have all the symptoms. Its almost 4 hours from me so i went to a local opthamologist here in Va who "said" he can test for it and said i def have isssues with eyes , strain, movements issues , depth perception problems and like that of a brain injury. But..he said i dont have that disorder. So i had them fax all my testing to this eye center in raleigh because she said their are only 4 eye centers that specialize in the binocular vision dysfuntion, thats michigan, new york, raleigh and charlotte . Im waiting for that specialist to call me back. It is every symptom i have !!!!! Right now my head and eyes feel its gonna explode trying to type this . take the quiz , let me know how ya do . I failed mine big time !!! Hope to go see them soon and pray this is the answer to all the problems

I did see your post and I actually went and took the quiz! I definitely have almost all those symptoms. I'm not near any of those locations but hopefully I can see a doctor or specialist about this soon. Thank you so much for your help!
