Do I have a bunion?

Posted , 5 users are following.

I am absolutey mortified! On my right foot I appear to have what I think may be a bunion. I am only 21, always wore quality shoes and don't really have a history of bunions on either side of my families.

I must stress there is NO pain, no discomfort, no problems no nothing. I've worn heels etc and still no pain or anything of the sort.

What do you guys think? Thank you.

hi there. Not sure that I would use the word mortified 😉 but it does appear that you have the beginning of a bunion. Do some research and you will find that bunions can be hereditary. I have bunions (one removed) and always wore good shoes. Unfortunately my Grandmother and even my uncle had bunions. Hang in there J

you definitely have a small bunion on each foot. theres nothing to be scared of if you continue to wear roomy shoes then it wont get worse but mine also looked the same way yours did when i was 21. im now 26 and i decided to go ahead and have surgery to remove one as they got a bit worse over time.

It does look like a bunion for sure but if you are not having any pain or discomfort i wouldnt even worry about it . There are ways to correct those in the early stages. sometimes it’s just hereditary sometimes it depends on the stress you put on your feet or your shoes . Mine is from stress on my feet and I just had Bunion surgery eight weeks ago on my left foot I don’t recommend surgery unless it is causing you pain bunion . If you are concerned I would just go see a A foot doctor and he could let you know

    Hi Havana

wearing high heels can cause bunions. However stop wearing high heels and the damage does not progress I don't think.

If your feet don't hurt what is the problem?

Having had surgery for arthritis and bunions I would give the world to have feet like yours.
