Do i have an abscess or something else?

I had surgery for an abscess two weeks ago in my anus area but in the last few days the pain has come back. The pain becomes unbearable after bowel movements but here's something weird: if I have a dry hard bm, the pain is a lot less. But if I have a moist BM or even worse diarrhea, I suddenly get a very Painful throbbing/swelling pain between the top part of my bum cheeks like a deep pain that ends up staying with me for hours after. The only slight relief is to jump into a hot bath but this doesn't help too much. I end up having to lie in bed all day as sitting and standing is too painful. The doctor couldn't find a visible abscess but he said it could be under the skin. What do you guys think?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I wish it was a fissure at this point as another abscess surgery would be a nightmare. The spot where the pain is doesn't seem to have anything there. There is some "inflamed skin" according to my doctor near the painful area but I felt a big lump there. When he felt it he couldn't feel the lump which really annoyed me. This is an awkward subject as it's very hard to explain the specifics when I can't actually see whats there.
