Hi, i think i have an ls . i currently have some white patches on my genital but im not sure if it just dry or ls .
it will only show up if its erect so doctors cannot see it they only see it in picture they thought its fungi but all anti fungal they gave me didnt work except the viaderm kc that has corticosteroid on it.
white patches will also disappear temporarily if it put water or lotion on it .
i used viaderm many times but it keeps comming back after a few days . im so dissapointed with our doctors because one of them said i dont think its something to worry about . i dont want to comeback to any doctor anymore.
i have this since april 2017 its not itchy or painful i hope it will never become painful or itchy . i wish its just dry . what will happen if i just ignore this?!
ive attached some current picture and old one

if you're a virgin you can rule anything STD related. if that is the case go to your regular doctor also they can recommend you to a dermatologist and take care of your problem. could be anything from eczema, contact dermatitis, lichen. so it's best to get evaluated by a professional.

I am an LS sufferer (the Male specific version is called Balanitis Xerotica Obliterans) and what you describe could well be LS. You need to have a Dermatologist do a Biopsy to prove what it is you actually have.
If it is the case that you do actually the only way you can treat it is with a Steroidal Ointment - the recognised recommended steroid is Clobetasol - there are various brand names for this including Dermovate. Once you have the treatment regime correct, you may need to move onto a less powerful steroid - I have used Clobetasol for almost 8 years ......

This is happening when you are erect as the skin in the are is under huge pressure due to the change is size. You need to get a Dermatologist help you with this - the relationship you have with your current Doctor is no a good one, so find a one that is more in tune with your needs, rather than the other way round ......
