Do i have bowel cancer or something else HELP

Hi I am really stressed out with this whole situation that's been going on for over 2 and a half years and still no real test being carried out sad . It all started in October 2014 when I was bleeding every time I went toilet and most of the time it was bright red and had like blood clots in there I always thought this was hemeroids anyway all of a sudden this stopped and I started getting this pain on the right side always seems up towards the liver area but more on the hip side ..i wudnt say pain but more of a solid feel (discomfort).. bowel movements are always different mainly loose stool that's hard to pass or feel I need to go but nothing or very little comes out but cannot see any blood . Now I still get the dull ache / pain / fullness feel on the right side but now it's more lower as if it was about an inch or 2 to the right of the belly button ..this pain comes and goes throughout each day .. have been to the doctors over atleast 20 times and had blood test all is normal but I do have a slight fatty liver and my stool test proven to have slight inflammation.. doctors have put it down to ibs and gave me buscopan and fybogel and of corse some tablets to treat anxiety . I also had an ultrasound scan 2 years ago which came back normal .. do i have anything to worry about or am I just being over worried ? I do have days I feel ok but most days I just want to stay in bed and sleep as I'm always tired and feel spaced out for unknown reasons ..i am not anemic proven by blood test ..what can this be ? Any opinions will be great the doctors just keep pushing me aside and won't send me for a ct scan or a colonoscopy due to my age as I'm only 27 and apparently I'm to young to die ! So the doctors say ..thanks for taking your time to read my story

May be you are suffering with an undiagnosed condition e.g.-depression/low mood-if you think this is the case re-refer yourself back to doctor.

Depression/anxiety  can make you feel tired.

It could otherwise be IBS-but I am not a doctor so I cannot diagnose anything.

It is all guesswork from my point of view.

You are young for cancer-(is there any family history of it) ? Did your doctor ask you about family history? Mine did ask me but then I am a lot older than you.(it  was in my fathers family-who have since all passed on).

Are you able to see a different doctor ? This may make a difference -

    Good Luck

    Susan

Thanks for your reply Susan yes I do think anxiety and depression plays a part in it but I don't believe in physical pain or aches being bought on from stress but I have been prescribed propanalol 40mg for anxiety and to help blood pressure as my blood pressure is always on the high side and I also have high cholesterol.. I have also saw over several different doctors that do the same routine .. feel my abdomen and send me on my way im getting to the point now where i just feel I'm wasting my time with the doctors as they don't listen. I have no family history or any sort or cancer either

Hey ! so i am 20 turning 21 shortly and i have had the exact same symptoms as you and i am scheduled for a coloscopy and endoscopy next month. Obviously i dont want to have to go through this although i need it for peace of mind as my pop has terminal bowel cancer at the moment so there is family history on my side. I think you should definately find another GP or just tell them that you want to get a referal to a gastro enterologist i think that how you spell it haha. Anyway luckily i found a really great specialist who had refered me to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy so i am happy about that as my GP also said the same thing your too young for that but id rather be safe than sorry. i dont have anxiety or depression or anything like that but I think maybe just go and tell them thats what you want because its your body and you should be able to say what goes. I hope all gets sorted for you soon please keep me updated and ill try to also do the same although my colonoscopy and endoscopy is a month away yet but if i remember i will post and let you know how i go smile

Hey so im not 100% sure about what symptoms he had

so far i have only had a test for C.Diff as i have had so many issues lately with my tonsils and other stuff where i needed to take alot ! of antibiotics and more so he thought maybe it had something to do with that. That test came back negative which was good although my symptoms still remained the same hense the referal. I recently had a tonsilectomy almost 3 weeks ago now so i have had my fair share of pills in the last year.

Hi Dean I'm going through something very similar to you and I'm also 27 and a mother I have had rectal bleeding and a change in my bowel habits and also in the consistency severe abdominal pain that comes and goes I have been waiting since October for my specialist appointment which I go to on Monday, I'm so scared that I have colon cancer and I'll be leaving my little girl without a mum. I hope you get some answers if you like I'm hear to talk

Hi Mel thanks for your reply I am also a dad to 3 children all under 8 and the thought of me leaving them makes me cry all the time. But I do try to think positive I have read so much about bowel cancer and treatment and you will be amazed what they can do now days and it all depends on the person . Hope you get good answers from your specialist but why the long wait ? I have an appointment with my gp today so hopefully I can get through to him that it's time to stop playing around and send me for a colonoscopy asap I've had these symptoms since October 2014. They have never been servere pains more of a dull ache or a solid feel in the hip part but that comes and goes I can go months without knowing it's there then all of a sudden it pops up for 3-4months then goes again.

I've had to wait for so long as I live in the regional area with only 2 specialist that fill up fast. I'm sorry for the graphic picture I'm about to paint for you, but this week my symptoms have become worse, today I've been to the toilet 5 times each time it's been very mucousy the last time I went it was only mucous and blood I've been a wreck! I hope your GP appointment went well and you are sent for proper testing.
