Do I have CFS?

Hello, I am a 20 year old student. For the last 4 years of my life, I have suffered with multiple health problems. Repeated headaches, swollen glands, excrutiating pain in my muscles and bones, nausea constantly trouble regulating my temperature (including hands and feet like blocks of ice!) and I am tired all the time, to the point where sometimes I could cry when I have to wake up, or on minimal exertion. Other than an iron deficiency, doctors can't seem to find anything particular to cause all these ongoing symptoms. I suffer with anxiety, but mroe recently my thoughts have become darker, and I am depressed with how I feel and how weak my body is. Are these symptoms similar to anything people have experienced? Some people have mentioned CFS to me, and I am now really considering it. If so, do I go to my GP and express my concern, and if so then what will happen? I am doing a full time degree studying, and it is starting to effect my studies. Any advice and experience would be gratefully received! Thank you smile

Have you been tested for the Epstein-Barr Virus (glandular fever)? It might be worth a visit to your GP for a blood test. This can lead into CFS/ME if you body does not fully recover from the initial virus.

Hello, yes I had glandular fever once about three years ago, and again about 5 months ago!

I continually get sore throat and swallon glands, but that is the least of my problems with my variety of other symptoms!

      Thanks for the response. x
