Do i have genital herpes?

hi everyone.

ive been recently diagnosed with hsv1. a few days after my contact with my new partner i had a sore throat, muscle pain, the generic herpes symptoms.

about 4 weeks after my contact i started to feel itching and discomfort down there. pretty sure i got a some type of vaginal infection from wear a very tight warm under garment for two days (i had the cottage cheese type of discharge, itchy, tingle feeling.. sorry tmi) then a couple days past and i felt fine. i shaved down there again recently and got a red large under the skin bump that has gone down on its own without any bursting or anything. today i noticed a tiny raw circle near the opening of my vagina. its not really itch just feels kinda raw? but nothing very noteworthy. im scared that this might be hsv1 genital. i dont know if i should go to the doctor or not please help!!!
