Do I have genital herpes according to these photos?

Hi guys I have been really paranoid about herpes lately and cannot stop worrying about whether I have HSV2 or not. I had protected (with a condom) sex with a girl who at that time was developing a cold sore on her lip. I never performed or received oral sex from her. She also claims to be STD free but didn't tell me about her cold sores until that night so I don't fully trust her. I couldn't sleep all night because I was worried about contracting HSV and experienced fever like symptoms but I am not fully sure. About a month later, I started experiencing a burning sensation on the right side of my penis just below the corona followed by a rash which doesn't seem to go away. There is also a noticeable swelling in the middle of my penis just under the corona as well as a weird bulging vein leading up to that swollen area. Moreover, I now notice tiny red dots around the corona which have stayed like that for over 2 months. I should note that I have never had a typical outbreak nor any blisters/lesions on my penis. Lastly, I waited 16 weeks and got a an IGG Herpes blood tests which turned out to be positive but it did not distinguish between HSV1 and HSV2. Below are links to the pictures of my current condition.

How could you get herpes then if you used a condom and she never gave you oral? You could of had it from other sexual encounters in the past. Your rash in your pictures don’t indicate herpes in my opinion and they don’t usually last two or more months. I would re test to see what herpes you could of had because Hsv1 60 % of the population has it and that’s orally and make sure it was IGG test. Igm has many false positives and don’t work like in my case. I tested negative igg but equivocal igm and remain negative.

Thank you for the reply lincoln! I have read that you can get herpes despite using a condom because the virus is transmitted via skin to skin contact. Things don't add up though because the area on which my rash is present was obviously covered. On a different note, the blood test that was done on me was igg not igm but it was not type specific so as you said I should retest. I am confident that I didn't have this condition before. I have only had sex with 2 girls so far and my first sexual encounter was 2 years ago. I did not experience any issues back then. I will be seeing a dermatologist soon and I will be getting a Western Blot for my own peace of mind. I really hope that whatever I have is not an STD and that will go away.I guess I just needed some reassurance! Thank you!

Cold sores are nearly always HSV1, so why are you worried about HSV2? Also, herpes symptoms don't persist for two months.

Hi lincoln! I have never had a typical outbreak on my lips but chances are pretty high that I do have it since I did make out with the girl I was seeing before she told me about her cold sores. Moreover, both my mom and my sister have gotten cold sores in the past. On that note, I did experience angular cheilitis and then I got many pimples all over my lips which were filled with white fluid. They also lasted around two weeks and didn't break open on their own unless I squeezed them. My mom said that is likely an allergy and that they don't look like cold sores. I have actually have some pictures but they are bit blurry.

What are your thoughts? Thank you for help!
