Do I have genital herpes ? Doctor says yes buy tests says no

I have a question now.

I always had protected intervourse but had some blow jibs from some prostitutes in Thailand around 3 months back.

I developed some redness and itchiness on my penis head . The doctor told me fungal and treated me. It went away and again came back and it was constantly there for 3 months.

On and off it itches and then some red bumps (concave and convex) I was fed up and again went to a different clininc

The doctor told me to take an STD test. I took the test and after 1 week results came and all were negative - I tested for hiv syphilis herpes 1 herpes 2 gonorrehea Chlamydia - all negative.

But the irritation soreness and red bumps on penis not going away. The senior doctor checked me and he says it's herpes and started treating me with acylovir and vicadine cream. The bumps and soreness looks like reduced by 70% in 4 days.

The doctor says that the test says it's not herpes but I have herpes. I am not sure what to do. Do I have herpes? I am really confused. Should I do another test ? Are herpes tests inconclusive ?

Note: I did ICG test for herpes which they say is accurate. I did it after 1 month of outbreak.

i am planning to get married soon and we want to have a baby immediately.

i am attaching the pics of my penis head. i dont have any other symptoms on my body.

hello collaze098. Unfortunately, it probably is HSV. Sometimes when people have type 1 in the mouth it transmits when they give oral sex. i suggest staying on the oral meds to see when it clears up. Yes, sometimes the test are wrong. BUT, not the end of the world. sit down with your fiancee abd explain the situation. You can still have a baby right away you just need suppression therapy while trying.

if you suspect you do have any std you need to tel your partner as they can cause health risks for them as well. Certain stds cause infertility in women but in the case of herpes i was diagnosed in september of 2015 with hsv2 and i just had a baby i had a natural vaginal delivery the doctor had me on a suppressant for 5 weeks prior to my due date so its possible to have a safe natural delivery. Don't be afraid to tell your partner and i would stop going to prostitutes as it would not be fair to put your partner at risk of these diseases against their will.
