Do I have herpes?

Hello everyone, so about a month ago I realized that I had a bump on my left vaginal lip. It started out like the size of a pencil eraser, it was skin color. It has gone down in size. It still feels like they're is something under the skin, even though it's small.
If anyone knows anything. I don't want to keep freakikg out because I'm really hoping it's not genital herpes.

Could just be a cyst. Herpes lesions are on the skin's surface, not under.

There is a bump on the skin too even though there is a bump underneath. It's super weird...

Why don't you go get it swabbed for anything ?
Better safe then sorry .

Actually, that's not true. Herpes can be single lesions. Indeed, none of mine have ever been clustered. However, they are very much on the surface, tend to hurt/sting when touched (surrounding area may be somewhat swollen as well), and usually (but not always) end up looking like oral canker sores. If yours feels like it's mostly below the skin, can be moved around, and is not painful, then it's likely a regular cyst.

It doesn't look open at all. It doesn't hurt when I touch it but when I squeeze it, it hurts. The surrounding area isn't swollen at all. It might just be a pimple of in grown hair. Which I hope so.

Did your bumps scab up or Turn any certain color? Or was it just a fleshy/ skin color. When did you notice it because this was just recently when it came in. I noticed it about a month ago. It's gone down in size too.

I played with the bump and now it's all hurting me now, I shouldn't have touched and played with it. It was bothering me so much.

I got swabbed and they'll send me the results soon. In a day or two.
