Made the biggest mistake of my life and slept with an escort exactly 9 days ago (I’m a straight male). We used condoms and plenty of lube and both had Pubic hair (i didn’t look to see if I could see any sores on her). It only lasted about 5 minutes and wasn’t rough. I have gotten really paranoid since. I examined myself the next day and noticed a round red lump in my public region (I’m not sure if it was already there though as I didn’t look before - it looks like a red pimple and has remained red for the whole 9 days. I did knock it last night and it leaked a bit if puss and clear liquid. However it is now fairly healed and hasn’t really scabbed over or anything like that. I’ve had no itchiness, no headaches and no flu etc. Am I just being paranoid? (I’ve had cold sores when I was a kid but nothing since).

I think the only way to be sure is to get tested. However, as far as I know, the herpes needs few days to show up after the contagion, so it's unlikely that the day after you already had the red lump.
I'm in the same boat, I went to a pay and few days after I'm having health issues, so I'm going paranoid, I'll go to make the tests as soon as the window period ends. I can tell you for sure, I'm done with pay sex, NEVER again.
One question though, you said you slept with an escort and used multiple condoms, but how is it possible that lasted 5 minutes?

The problem is that if you are negative (I hope for you), you'll probably fall in the same trap again. Few days ago I got really horny, and thinking about the last time I went to an escort, I said to myself "It'll be fine, I was just paranoid", so I did it again and I'm in the same mental situation as the last time.
I'm forcing myself to think that things like herpes and hiv are f*****g permanent and I can't ruin my life for 5 minutes of pleasure. (lol i've to admit i also lasted 5 min the last time)
