Do I have leukemia - blood work ?

So, in the last 3 weeks I sometimes feel bone and ankle pain (can be anxiety or the fact I started palying football again) and also shin pain. The shin pain uccurs only a few times a day and lasts max 3 secons, and can be pinpointed. I thought of shin splints but it does not hurt while excercising and does occur at rest. I was afraid it might be leukemia so I went for a blood work last monday: https://imgur.com/a/A1B2u

It calmed me down, but this monday I started to feel a bit tired even though i think I slept normally and it lasts until now, and also have a bit swollen tonsil, so I did a little research and found that people who present with leukemia bone pain can have a normal blood work so I went for another one: https://imgur.com/a/zwFd6

Compare it with this blood work done about 5 months ago: https://imgur.com/a/Zo97Z

As you can see I have less MPV (even though some internet sites say 7.5 is the minimum), so I am quite worried. I wonder, do I have leukemia or not ? I emailed a hematologist and she said not to worry, but I still wonder If I should push on her to send me to a bone marrow biopsy or not. Thank you a lot.

    Hi Hiaroslav,

You seem to have an obsession with Leukemia. Your blood work looks great to me. You really should stop worrying, because this unnecessary worrying could indeed make you sick.

Your MPV is just slightly low, but not enough to worry about. If anything it could indicate (ITP) Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura, not Leukemia, butĀ  I am not a medical doctor. I have Leukemia and your blood work looks pretty good to me. People who suffer fromĀ  Leukemia would love to have your blood work results.

Jaroslav, please listen to your other respondents, and to the hematologist who kindly emailed you. YOU. DO. NOT. HAVE. LEUKEMIA. All of your blood work is within normal limits. If your ankles and shins give you a little pain after playing football gain, that is no surprise. be sure you are wearing the right kind of shoes and not pushing yourself too fast.

If you are a bit tired and have a bit swollen throat, you may have a little virus or a little irritation, especially if you have been out around other people more (playing football!) or have a little allergies.

Really, seriously, your only big health problem seems to be terrible anxiety. Please, see your doctor about this! yes, anxiety is treatable: medications, exercise, meditation, a busy life all are helpful.
