Do I have Sickle Cell Disease?

So recently I've had episodes of chest pain, shortness of breath, generalised aches and pains, fever (I get so cold I shiver and my teeth chatter), as well as weakness. This can last a few hours to two days. I went to my doctor (I'm from the UK) and they had a blood test done; however it was only including a full blood count and other tests to do with thyroid, kidneys etc. I found out about Sickle cell disease and saw I matched the symptoms, however the blood test came back normal (bearing in mind this is a CBC/FBC). Would Sickle cell Disease come up on this test or do I need to inform my doctor about my worry. Both my parents have not been screened for this so I don't know if they are carriers.

Would I need another test that tests for Sickle Cell Disease or do I not have it because I don't have anemia as the test for normal anemia came back negative.

You'll need a Sickle Cell  or Hemoglobin S test. Best wishes for you!
