Do I need be treated

Blood test shows that I am HCV positive, this could be caused by blood transfusion in 1991 when my daughter was delivered. I am very confident to my health condition, no drink, no smoke, good habit, regular sports club member. My specialist wants to do liver biopsy then get treatment. I am so scared, first is being alergy to needle, secondly don't want normal life to be spoiled by side effect. Is the treatment so important, will I die quickly without any treatment?

What knid of sympton? Weak, tired, no appetite? At moment, I don't have any of these. Does that mean that my liver has not been damaged, and treatment is not necessary?

I have hep c for about 30 yrs. My latest biopsy shows stage 2.I do have some scarring on my liver but my blood work 4 whatever reson has gotten better.I do take milk thistle and other vitamins and believe this has helped.I also don't drink anymore.I choose not to do treatment at this time 4 I suffer with multi chemical sensivity and latest treament would b 2 hard on my body.I know a few of my friends have had treament, they stopped 4 it was also 2 harsh.Everyone is different and handles treatment differently.Get ur biopsy and spk with ur Dr.I personally am waiting 4 the newer treatments to b studied better.Good Luck.I know this is a very scary diagnoises do alot of re-search
