Do I need to wean off Propranolol after just 2 days?

I recently went to my GP and was prescribed Propranolol for anxiety. It appears to have many positive effects however (thanks to my anxiety) i have found a few negative accounts and am very concerned .

I have taken 1 40mg tablet once a day at 9pm for the last 2 days. I do not wish to take any more. Is it possible for me to just stop taking Propranolol as I'm only 2 days in or do I need to wean off?
