Hi my advice would be to keep off antidepressants they can all have bad side effects and a lot are addictive. They are a last resort they can work for some people I know so think carefully about them. When antidepressants are given people need watching carefully by doctors and blood taken regularly. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to happen xx

    Hi jwood,

It’s  a personal thing isn’t it ? It’s whats best for you right now.

sorry to hear you’ve had a a bad reaction to the first medication.

can I ask what you’ve tried and what they have prescribed now?

Some work for some not others.

its good you are waiting for help, though it could be a while inbetween.

it maybe worth giving these new ones a go.

i myself am on antidepressants I have been for Years tried loads found Mirtazapine worked better than the others.

for anxiety I had Propanol but had to come off them,,

I think if you feel you want to start taking them it’s your choice.

It does take a while for any  antidepressants to kick in so to speak.

    what have you been prescribed

    vicky🙂
