I have been told that standing on your head can stop an attack, drinking cold water while someone massages both sides of neck worked on my daughter once, but they always just told us to phone an ambulance and get her hospital, she has just had an ablation done in bristol childrens hospital and we were told it was a success,so maybe thats something for you to think about for the future, sophie is 13,good luck for the future!

    Thanks \"foxysarah\".

Hope the Op. is a resounding success. Update in a couple of months would be appreciated!

Hi again well it's just over a year now since Sophie had the ablation done, she did have another episode just three weeks after the ablation was done,we were so upset and dissapointed at the time but she has been fine since,so we are hoping that it has worked after all,she was getting them around every three months so to go nearly a year now without one is amazing, she is so pleased, and she isn't even on any medication because she told the doctor she wanted to find out how she would be without it.

Hope your grandson is doing ok x
