Hello Im just wondering if the first symptoms of HIV infection like rashes, fever, headache, fatigue, etc. stay just for a while or stay longer? If it stays long, how long?

Firstly I need to ask if you have been recently diagnosed as HIV +ve? if not then the following information will not applyand I urge you to attend a Genito-urinary medicine department.
When a person is first exposed to the HIV virus and contract the virus they can suffer from seroconversion illness which has symptoms of fatigue, flu like symptoms etc. This is the response of the immune system to the virus and commonly associated with a "high viral load".
In most persons these symptoms last between 2 weeks to 6 weeks and then settle down, the viral load will usually settle down as the symptoms subside.
For persons diagnosed HIV +ve they will have their T-cell count and viral load tested and may be offered anti-retroviral medication.
Best wishes, D. (Ps I am qualified to give this information and always urge people to attend a specialist department if they are concerned about HIV or been diagnosed HIV +ve).

Im havent yet tested but Im really worried myself. The problem is that if I get tested here in the country Im working now and showed positive (hope not!) I will be deported immidiately. Im really worried and here are some of the things I have been going through for a couple of mounths:
*I felt always tired & still sleepy even with a full nights rest.
*I got acne/rash (not sure) in my shoulders, back and chest.
*I have a cyst in my right shoulder (dont know if its a symptom)
*i have loose stools more than a month now
*have white tongue (dentist says all is normal, but she does not know my sexual activity the past months)
*back & shoulder pain
*occasional headache & sore throat
*i had NO high fever
What do you think?
Thank you!

The symptoms you list could indicate many conditions and added to your HIV anxiety is most likely making them persist. I advise you to eat well, don't drink alcohol, get plenty of rest and if sexually active make sure you have safer sex.
I understand your concerns about not getting tested away from home, both from the deportation angle and more to the point from a support angle.
If life is so difficult, would it be possible to come back to the UK for a holiday and get a full check up here.
Take care, D.

The good news is that HIV is actually fairly difficult to catch. And your symptoms actually describe a lot of other illnesses too. In fact, simple stress can cause most of those symptoms!!
The bad news is that you definitely need to get checked. There isn't really an option there I am afraid. I wish you the best of luck, and please let us know how you get on. xxx
