Do the side effects lessen over time?

Can someone tell me whether the side effects decrease as your body becomes use to the dosage of fluoxetine?

I take my dosage in the morning around 8 am, I suffer from sleepless nights and awful anxious mornings where I just do not feel myself. I only started my dosage around a week ago and I feel as if the side effects are starting to kick in but I was wondering whether or not they start to "disappear" as my body will become use to the drug been inside me.

Any kind if insight into any other side effects that people have experienced and whether or not the side effects have came and gone will be much appreciated.

I am on my second week taking 20 mg I have some sleepless nights too but it seems to be getting a little better . I also had nausea which seems to be getting better. I also notice my anxiety is worse in the morning.

    Hi Steve

I started on fluoxetine 11 weeks ago and am now on my 12th week. I have had terrible side effects throughout this time but today I have not suffered any so far so feeling more hopeful.

I have read the side effects are different from person to person, some people have none and some people like me horrible ones. I hope you feel the benefit of them sooner rather than later
