Those effects sound quite serious, maybe you need to speak to your consultant or GP about them. Maybe not something to wait and see if it gets better.

spoke with my RA nurse and has sent an urgent referal to the specialist, just awaiting an appointment, as we all know the NHS is stretched to the limits so im sure will get to see them within a month.

if i felt ill all 7 days then i would be more anxious but last for 2 out of the 7

Have you tried ringing the Consultant's secretary? He might tell you what to do while you wait to actually see him.

All I can tell you is my own experience Tracey. I took MTX [Methotrexate] for a different reason & my Consultant started me on a smaller dose. I had a severe reaction to it, so I stopped taking it until I could see him.

It isn't like taking Pred, you don't have to taper it, so personally, I wouldn't take your next dose & would ring the secretary on Monday & say you have had a bad reaction to it & are not going to take the next dose until you have seen or spoken to him.

You can just change the day that you take it.

I would have thought 30mg is quite a high dose to start on.

Don't worry about ringing his secretary, she will be used to patients ringing.

      Good luck
