My dermatologist prescribed Epiduo,clindamycin and Minocycline. Have anyone else tried theses medications and did they work for you

    Minocycline was the only AB that worked exceptionally well for my HS. 100 mg a day kept it "under control" . You can take  larger dosages if necessary. I have no experience with the other meds mentioned.

    Minocycline helps keep under control more than any other antibiotic. I have found.

    I just started minocycline yesterday. Hopefully, it will work along with this Prednisone. Also, awaiting approval for Taltz.

    Another med that kept the lesions manageable was a steroid creme called Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%.

    Put a nice glop over lesion covered it. Reduces inflammation a good deal
