Do you have different dizziness

I'm in an episode right now. It started Friday evening with the same dizziness then headache and neck and shoulder ache. Then it came back late last night and today with not the rocking sensation it usually is but a falling feeling and going to the left feeling. I've had this slight headache all day with it. Of course she sone anxiety to. I took 1/2 a Xanax but that's wearing off I think. I was wondering when anyone has this if they notice the dizziness feels different? Do you ever have the falling feeling? Then rocking feeling? Do you always have the headache and neck pain with it. I'll tell you I'm so sick of this crap. I'm tired of not knowing when this will hit, how long it will last, what type of dizziness it will be, what caused it this time, I'm tired of all of it. I'm not on any meds cause my ENT said I was doing better with having dats of no dizziness so he didn't want to put me on anything. But next week m he seeing a psychologist who works with a psychiatrist so maybe she will give me meds for the anxiety and depression.

Just want to say I'm half the man I was. First got struck down in 2014 with   Labyrinthitis. Fully recovered, then in April this year it's struck again, I'm still suffering and it's not getting better. I'm a different person, it's a sh*t thing

Have you been given a specific diagnosis, a cause to your problem?

I was told by the ENT it was MAV with slight MDDS because of the rocking sensation.  I was the ENT a week ago and I talked to him about how I didn't want to take the topamax because of all the bad things I read about it.  He checked me over and had me do some things in his office and said I believe the VRT is working because you seem to be doing better and told me he wasn't going to try any meds and to see the psychologist about the anxiety.  I'me doing the VRT daily, but i'm wondering about the sensation I get with the headaches,  neck and shoulder tension.  I don't know what to do next, I'm so afraid of  the meds and there are days where I don't have any of this. I do wonder about the anxiety to, I know I get frustrated when the sensations start, then the head and neck ache follows it, then of course the fear of being dizzy sets in and the anxiety.  Its a horrible vicous cycle.

Thanks for any help, last time we talked you said it sounds like MAV to your.  What is odd is anxiety comes with the same symptoms as this inner ear stuff.  One other question, is MAV  considered an inner ear disorder?  Please explain I"m confused about it.

      Thanks

No-one agrees if migraine associated vertigo, or vestibular migraine, is central or peripheral in origin.  It has features of both.
