Do you notice the strength of your nails?

When I was fisrt ill with ME I looked like a ghost, (so I kept being told), and my fingernails were so weak that I could bend them over. Now they're so strong that I've broken two nail clippers trying to cut them! They're getting really long and I'm wondering whether to get a chainsaw to trim them..

I still have ME but I doing somethng right. How is the strength of your nails?

Weirdly enough I have noticed how soft my nails have become over the winter. Really soft and keep breaking all the time and was wondering if it was because I've had bad relapse over last few months - have been going through a lot of stress pushing myself to help everyone else. Have 14 year old dog and got in middle of night all winter to put fire on to keep him warm but it got him through the winter - he's still here! Plus neighbour had cancer and was trying to help her with things too but she's OK now thankfully. When I was at my best a couple of years ago my nails were a lot stronger. Wonder if nails could be connected with the immune system in any way? Glad you are doing something right. Wish I knew what I'm doing wrong - have gone back to resting and pacing - felt bit better last week but met friend for lunch on Sat and went to supermarket on Sun and absolutely shattered again this week!

It's diet and herbs. I used think I ate healthily because I made stews and salads from me and my son but I didn't look into the ingredient lists or know enough about herbs.
