Hello, my mother had a Dobutamine & Atropine induced Stress Test. The dobutamine did not "work" so they gave her atropine. Stress test was completed and results were good but afterward she fainted and was admitted to the hospital. Two weeks later, she is still there and they cannot figure out why her blood pressure drops so far when they stand her up that she passes out. Doctors, et al are stumped. I know these drugs are out of her body by now but could they do long-term damage? Or any other thoughts?
