Has anyone had a hard time getting this dignosis? I have never once had a doctor bring it up. Had the heart work up, GI work up, etc. I still get nervous every time I feel chest pain. Some days it's constant (hours and hours). Sometimes it's sharper and like a locilzed squeeze (typically when I'm driving). I guess the only reassurance I get is on here. I do struggle with anxiety as well.

I have never gotten a diagnosis. I had a nurse practitioner bring it up 1 time I consulted with my doctor and he blew it off and said it was strained and pulled muscles and told me to go back to physical therapy....

I wish you luck but I m thinking this is a chronic thing that may settle for awhile but then flare up again mine seems to flare if I lift anything heavy

I had a chest X-ray and ecg and bloods done 6months ago after I was getting bad chest pains, all came back clear! The pains didn't settle and doctor said it could be costo, I am being treated for anxiety due to the worry of the chest pains! Some days are better than others but seems to be there at some point everyday! Like you I feel it when I'm driving but wonder whether that's because your mind isn't distracted so I think about it more! Heat pads and ibuprofen kind of help! I hope you find some relief soon
