Recently. I had a course of antiobotics and the pruritus returned after 30 years!! Now I am distraught. No Allercur, and all the latest creams. ointments, and anthistamines SIMPLY DO NOT WORK.. What am I to do?? I have been told that acupunture is the final cure. Has anyone tried it.

Hot water also helps, as does aloe vera and baby wipes.

If probiotics works for you please see that the word gets out so others do not suffer. I have been trying to do this but because I am not a doctor no one takes any notice.

Some of us have the itch because of the digestive tract. You sound to be one of them since antibiotics destroy friendly bacteria in the gut. Probiotics frm pharmacies or natural health shops may work. also there is HMF Replete treatment which is 7 sacs of powder to be taken each day for a week. See internet. This really cleans out the bad bacteria and has been recommended to me by a Naturopathic doctor who takes it herself even though she does not have the itch.

After you have been to the WC use the enema to remove any remaining stool. Leaving the stool can cause the irritation. If you feel the itch coming back during the day use the enema to clear the lower bowel. It's been a revelation and has made my life bearable once more. Try it, as it may help you. Regards.
