Doctor opinion not helpful - Please help

Hello everyone,

I have suffered from dermatitis and Cholinergic Urticaria my entire life. I was able to get a prescription for triamcinolone 0.1%. I mix 15G into 16OZ of lotion and mix it together and apply to the entire body every other day. This has greatly helped both of my issues however I am unsure if this is actually safe or not to do long time. I explained to the doctor that this is what I have been doing but they really didn't say much on it.

Any suggestions if that is ok as it's every other day and also it is buffered down in the lotion?

I'm sure you know this is a steroid and there are always warnings about long term use of steroids, especially if you are using this over a wide area.Im not sure if you are male or female or how old you are, but be very cautious if you are young as long term use can affect hormone balance. Try to have an in depth chat with your doctor. They may not be too worried if you are past the age of being, or wanting to be, a parent .
