    Hi Edith,

I am not sure about everyone, but for me it has been a roller-coaster from 2015-2016 onwards with symptoms coming and going with no specific reason. I think I have almost all the symptoms that there are at one time or the other.

Right now I am having pain/tingling strange pulling feeling in my calves, shins and ankles. Dont know if it is menopause related or due to my fallen arches. Whatever, it is worrying AF.

All the symptoms you have written are the usual culprits, so it is quite normal. Try to reduce stress and anxiety. I have been told that is the root of most of our problems, but it is definitely not just limited to stress.

Hang in there. It will get better. I am still waiting though.

i ve had every symptom possible and they all come and go. some have stuck around for months and others days/weeks. the recurring most consistent one is extreme anxiety. as soon as i stop freaking out about a symptom or get used to it, its gone and a new thing pops up that convinces me im dying and eventually i chalk it up to hormones and it fades. ive had so many symptoms they are starting to cycle around again! im back to joint pain de quervains, hip bursitis. the new thing accompanying is low back/tailbone pain. a couple of months ago it was diarrhea for no reason a week during and following my periods. before that burning mouth and tinnitis. theres estrogen receptors in everybtiny nook snd cranny of our bodies and for is lucky few that are sensitive-- we are aware of every little annoying blip. try not to worry. i hope you feel better soon!

thank you for asking this question I was wondering the same thing my symptoms are so random and then some days I dont have any at all. I finally feel free and they drag me back down . Its a cruel joke ! Is it too much to ask to have at least a week of freedom so we can get mentally stable. I wish someone would just tell me that this is what I have and that I am normal. Its the unknown that scares me

    Hi Edith,

Same here, so many different symptoms which come and go, I have the odd day where I feel ok and can get some jobs done, then wham, something hits me and Im laid up for a day, literally I cant or don't want to get out of bed. Other days I can function but its a real effort. Strangely I tend to feel better in the evenings, or if I do make the effort and get up and do stuff I feel better. I do think peri/menopause symptoms are a mix of physical and emotional issues which vary day to day, if Im having an emotional

day which is causing physical issues then I can get on top of it, but other days Im just a mess and just resign myself to my bed.

Do you find the weather makes any difference, Im so much better if its warm and the sun is shining?

Hope your having a good day.

I am exactly the same. I feel absolutely dreadful again at the moment. Really could cry.

My symptoms are many and varied - but the feeling like I can't get a deep breath in, heart palpitations, nausea, upset tummy, bloatimg, burping, adrenaline surges etc send me into complete panic. My health anxiety is in over drive.

I've had covid at the end of last year/early this year and I believe it can trigger menopausal symptoms to flare up.

I feel so alone and can convince myself that I've got something seriously wrong with me.

please tell me I'm not going mad.

hilary72843 hang in there i started HRT lowest dose and it has made a difference, really it has. i am going to approach my GP on tuesday to request a higher doseage as the mood swings are making me think im crazy. these have subsided a lot since i stated the medsit used to be hard to even get through a daynow i get at least one day a week without an episode. i really hope that u are able to get this addressed. i feel so terrible for women that are going through this without health care, or financial means to 😦 .
