Does anyone else experience this with anxiety?

Today just out of nowhere I started feeling like I was about to pass out on the floor and I feel dizzy, my heart is pounding, my body is shaking, my vision is a bit blur and I'm panicking like crazy. I don't know what to do and how to cope with myself when I feel like this. Is this a common anxiety symptom? I suffer from health anxiety, I'm always worried about my health, even though my doctor gives me blood test and tells me I'm very healthy and I have nothing to worry about, but it's so hard for me to believe that when my symptoms hit me out of nowhere and I start freaking out, worried that I might be dying or I have some sort of illness.

I have the same issue - health anxiety, and at my worst, i had the same symptoms you are mentioning. i have been on Sertraline 100 mg for more than 8 months and it worked wonders, but i have gained about 10 lbs and have borderline high LDL (bad cholesterol), without eating more nor increasing the intake of unhealthy foods. I had never had this issue before.

i have the same problem. my panic attacks always manifest as feeling like i'm on the verge of fainting and that i'm being smothered. it's awful. i've struggled with health anxiety since i was 11 (i'm 23 now) so i've seen it all. lately i had a bad relapse because of the pandemic and other events that occurred last year, saw three different types of doctors over 6 months, all of whom diagnosed me with health anxiety and panic disorder. the most we can do is try to reduce our anxiety, especially since our tests are clear. i wish you well.

Hi Shanny1997, I'm sorry you are dealing with this. The symptoms you are explaining are very coming of anxiety/panic attacks and only increases the anxiety when you suffer with Health Anxiety because we then begin to ruminate on those sensations only making them bigger and more difficult to deal with. I have health anxiety/OCD. From what I've been told by psychologist/psychiatrist is that Health Anxiety goes hand and hand with OCD so we tend to obsess and try to "figure" out those sensations. Exposure therapy with a psychologist has helped but if you cannot pursue a psychologist there is a few good workbooks on healthy anxiety on amazon you can purchase and work through.
when having dizzy spells it can help to sit on the floor Indian style and focus on the 4-7-8 breathing ( I know easier said then done). You can also try tapping your face (I know, sounds weird) start with your forehead with two figures, then under your nose and chin. It focuses your mind on that sensation instead of all the anxiety ones.
