Does anyone else get UTI symptoms when it's hot weather?

Ok so this is about my third post on here but here goes
So it's ridiculously hot in the UK at the moment and I've noticed that if it's hot and I'm not drinking loads of water like I usually do (if I'm busy at work etc) then I notice thread like particles in my urine and my urine usually tests positive for white blood cells, quite a high count also.
So when this happens I take two teaspoons of d mannose, a cranberry tablet and down loads of water but not too much. I'll then test my urine and it's completely clear again, this can happen as quick as like 15 minutes later.
This has happened a few times this week, I've had two UTIs in the past that were treated with antibiotics but now it usually goes when drinking lots of water but will come back again. This has happened twice this week.
I went to the doctors earlier this week and finally told him all the problems I've been having and I'm getting some tests done soon which is good.
The only reason I worry is because I dread the thought of there being harmful bacteria that could cause problems to my kidneys!!
Does anyone else have this problem? I have had two cultures done in the past and both came out negative

I went to France for a holiday a couple of weeks ago, and it was hot there. I think bike-riding made me sweat more, and because of travelling, maybe I didn't drink as much as I usually do at home. Anyway, at the end of 3 weeks, I got a UTI and had to scrabble around Bordeaux pharmacies for a catheter and antibiotics. At home now and they worked but went to my GP in UK anyway and he gave me more anitbiotics to make sure. Two weeks on it's as if nothing happened! However, I am making sure I drink plenty of water or squash, and not tea or coffee!

It's odd isn't it - makes me think it's all down to drinking water.
I posted this, what? About an hour ago? And I'm completely back to normal again.
Bizarre.

I went to the coast yesterday and made a point of drinking loads even when I wasn't thristy, then after a long walk and an hour and a half's drive home without drinking anything the niggly pain started. I immediately drank loads and took some D Mannose and after a few hours the pain went - yay! In the past this would have developed into a full-blown UTI because I didn't make the connection with lack of water. I didn't look at my urine for stringy bits.
