Totally, I've been taking them for about 3 weeks and although I was drinking before I feel the need to drink excessively now....I hate it if I can't have a drik! You're not alone!

I have started drinking "alot" since I started taking cypralex. I sulk if I don't get a glass of red at night once the children are tucked up. I go to bed early just to avoid the urge sometimes. I usually have 1/2 a bottle of red most evenings..say 5/7. It helps me sleep and I love to indulge in nice things anyway, so thats my treat.

...I've just been prescribed Escitalopram today. Was NOT impressed when I read that you're not supposed to drink on them- the reason I've ended up like this is because I took WAY too much speed, so I was looking forward to replacing it with booze rolleyes [it's probably not the way to tackle depression]

What's the deal with drinking on a-d drugs?
