Hi i have UC but with how severe my condition was I had to get the surgery. About your fainting I have that as well and it's not a pretty sight. You should tell your doctor about it if you haven't already and I found keeping an eye on my blood pressure can help prevent blackouts if I catch it in time. You might be fainting due to your blood pressure or you might also be anemic which can cause fatigue.

THanks for your reply I thought I was the only one who fainted for a moment there u mentioned you had surgery what's the outcome of that do you not have to take any medication now has it completely gone? I dont no if I be offered surgery as my colitis isn't just on one part of my colon its all around it tge whole thing would need to go so dont no if that's possible. Thanks for your feedback

For my surgery I had what's called a total Colectomy. Total as in my entire colon and maybe a bit of small intestine. It's a two to three step surgery I was lucky to only have the two part. I went in for my first surgery and left with an ostomy bag and a month later the bag was removed. I'm actually very surprised your doctor hasn't mentioned this. Now for the after I'm not sure if I'm the best person to help because my doctor told me I've had the worst recovery she's very seen. no medicine you might need Imodium and lots of fiber. doctors like to say surgery is the "cure" but this is untrue i does get rid of the abdominal pain the bleeding no more flare ups it helps with everything related to your intestines because your removing it. Now it's not really a cure because if your like my you still get the arthritis the mouth sores you can get eye problems. Overall I think you should research the surgery and if it would be right for you then talk to your doctor
