Does anyone else have stomach pains while taking Orlistat

Ive been taking Orlistat for 2 months, Ive lost just over a stone. This is my 2nd time round on the pills so I know the ins and outs of whats right & whats wrong. I drink plenty of water for the bloating but now Im finding I am getting stomach ache most days & wondered if any one else was experiencing the same thing.

Hi Britney, I have it most days but dont want to say anything to my GP in case they stop prescribing the pills, although I have a repeat for 3 months. Its easing a little as the days go on so think I can cope with it as the tablets are working without them I would be now way near the loss I have made so far.

Hi Claire yeah i know what you mean i never wanted to say anything to them at the start either and like you i wouldn't have lost all these stones if it wasn't for the tablets. I would suggest upping your water intake. Lucky you i only get a months supply at a time good luck and let me know how you get on x

This is my 2nd time round on the pills thats why Im guessing my GP has given me a 3 month supply, I still have to go and be weighed once a month. I have an underactive Thyroid & Im being monitered for that so thats another reason why I dont want to mention the stomach pains as he was reluctant to prescribe them again because of my thyroid. Its not as bad today so Im keeping my fingers crossed its goin to pass. Im due to be weighed on the 7th so fingers crossed Ive lost a few more pounds. Im sticking to it as Ive got a holiday booked in September and want to lose at least another 2 stone by then. Ive started replacing my lunch with a juice which seems to be working so I will stick to that for now.
