Does Anyone Feel Like They Are Floating & Unreal?

Hi guys, for the past two days I've been experieincing some very alarming symptoms. Since I went to the ER to rule out heart issues again, I started feeling like I am not myself, like my actions arent't my own. Like I'm looking at myself, and everything feels familar but foriegn at the same time. I also have a feeling of weightlessness. Like when I went to have blood work, I didn't feel the pinch of the needle like I always do. I don't feel like my body is numb because I pinch myself all the time and feel it but it feels somewhat numb, like sensations feel off. I don't know if this is anxiety, if I've had a stroke or if I've damaged something in my brain. I am so scared. I don't feel dizzy, but I feel off. Weightless and numb-like. Has anyone felt this before?

Its a defense mechanism when you have/ are having too much anxity and can be made worse by meds.
I have had it for 3+ years

Yes! I've been going through this constantly, and have intermittently in the past. It's kind of hard to articulate the sensation, but I'm very familiar with it. It's definitely something that can be caused by anxiety by itself, and like the other responder said, other substances can trigger it as well. It's quite alarming and makes me feel as though I'm losing my grip on reality, so to speak. I tend to go through it when my anxiety escalates to a very high level.

Oh and it's also sometimes called depersonalization.
