does anyone have experience of losing weight on the Vitaline

HI Ladies

I've been living with PCOS for about 13 years now. I think my symptons are relatively mild compared to some, however I do need to lose approx. 2 stone, I was contemplating going on the Vitaline diet as I've heard it's suitable for people with PCOS. I've tried Weightwatchers etc and found they are too general. Please post a message up if any of you have had good or bad results on this diet. Thank you.

    Hi Sarah,

I'm not familiar with the Vitaline diet. What does it involve? I lost weight, eased my PCOS symptoms and feel pregnant with my little girl by following an eating plan in the PCOS Diet Book by Colette Harris. I know a huge part of the battle is controlling blood sugar so I've bought the GI Diet and the Low GI Guide to Managing PCOS. I didn't get on with Metformin the first time but may try again as I'd like another baby and I understand it helps weight loss by controlling blood sugar.

    Hello,

I did Vitaline for about 6 months and lost 3 stone.

I found the diet got harder as the weeks went on - not to mention expensive.

I saw a dietition about the PCOS and she said that Vitaline isnt that healthy - it has quick results but isnt ideal on the body.

As soon as I stopped the diet the weight piled back on.

I am now starting the Rosemary Conley GI Diet as recommened by my specialist. You can do it online as is only £10 per month whereas Vitaline is £25.
