Ive been having bouts of itching and irritation. No infections and even had a skin biopsy that showed up as just inflammation. My doctor says it probably eczema. I don't have eczema anywhere else on my body though. Anyone else have this? What does it look like for you and what are your symptoms?

By eczema he might be suggesting allergies. Normally eczema is caused by an allergy, which unfortunatly you might have to find out what is causing it on your own... Are you allergic to anything that you are aware of? Vaginal tissue is much more sensitive than regular skin, therefor it might be the only place you have irritation if its a minor allergy.. Did he give you a perscription for anything? I have had eczema on my feet and the rash was clear as day, but I have read that eczema on the vulva does not appear like it would on regular skin and might not look like anything at all.. I also am suffering from chronic unexplained bouts of itching but havent assumed mine to be eczema so I will look into this!! Maybe keep a journal of what kind of detergent, toiletpaper, underwear, soap, and maybe even food that you come into contact with around periods of itching to see if you can narrow down a cause?
