Does anyone know how long it would take for the nail bed to heal or how to fix this?

So you're probably wondering how this happened. Basically, I was in the middle of work and i noticed a piece of skin(?) on my fingernail, and I decided to pick it because I didn't like how it looked. I've always picked my fingernails and the top thing on the nail, but I never went for the middle of the nail but now that I did, there is a huge white line streaking down my nail. I was just wondering how long it would take for that to heal or if there is a way to fix it. imageimageimage

    Emm you just have to wait for your nail to grow out. That shouldnt be more than 3-4 months Try to stop picking at your nails ...picking does eventually leave your nails in an uneven lumpy condition. Would painting with nail varnish help you to take more care of your nails?
