Does anyone know if a HoLeP procedure can be as easily and safely performed after a PAE procedure if it subsequently found PAE hasn't been effective in treating a very large prostate.

Also not sure where MK is getting his info. Studies have shown that PAE is successful around 80 to 90% of the time. A study very recently presented near DC showed very successful outcomes 5 years out. II can send a link to anyome who is interested.

Have you already had the PAE or are you considering it?

Just an FYI. I am almost 2 weeks post PAE with Dr. Bagla. I am posting my experiences on a separate discussion on the forum. Bottom line at this point is that I may not know for a couple of more weeks if it will have helped my BPH symptoms.
