Does anyone know of a facility or board certified doctor in CA that does FLA or PAE as a BPH solutio

I have been diagnosed with BPH since 2003 and Avodart and Flomax have not stopped the growth of my prostate. It is well over 110 grams I believe (one doctor used cc's instead of grams and said it was 162 cc). It has now reach critical procedure time and I'm not sure that a TURP is the best choice for me.

It is not what procedure is done

    It is WHO DOES IT.

I disagree! Even the best doctors are restricted by the technology and instruments that are used for a certain procedure, and by the individual anomalies. Hank

Hi DCR, Have you considered Rezum, Greenlight, or HoLep ? They are all much better than TURP. Hank

I have been told Urolift and Rezum are restricted to prostates under 80 gr and mine is at least 100 gr

Plus since I will have to ungoe at least 2 procedures even if they were TURPs, I’d just a soon have the first one cause the least amount of damage to urethra and sexual function. Hence why FLA and PAE are high on my list
