Does anyone take IBGard. What are the side effects (unable to find online)

My 70-young dad has chronic constipation. However he was misdiagnosed with IBS and took Linzess for nearly 5 years. 

My Dad wasn't sure whether Linzess was helping or not, but he wanted to stop because

1. Linzess is so dangerous, you cannot even flush down the toilet

2. It is expensive

Gastroenterologist suggested take over-the-counter IB Gard instead.

Honestly, my Dad is unsure if IB Gard is even helping, and I am unable to find documented side-effects, hence I am turning to the patient community.

Has anyone used IB Gard and experienced side-effects?
