Does anyone take Mesalazine for diver remission?

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with my first attack 8 years ago... I've had several attacks but have refused surgery. I'm battling my second attack in 2 months...2 months ago i bled for the first time with attack...had diarrhea and massive amount of blood loss for a week....In the past i would be constipated. Any type of fiber brings on an attack...example...metamucil, benefiber, magnesium supplements, and too many salads.. I have the laziest colon.. I'm constipated by default...have been my entire life. I read that treatment is changing from antibiotics to mesalazine with good success....on remission.

here are the foods I've associated my diver attacks to...

popcorn

zucchini

cucumber

salads

fiber supplements

Thanks for reading ,

Chérie
