I have been taking this for several years. The same amount of time I have had stomach issues, and was wondering if this bp medication had anything to do with it. I never made any connection to the length of time my stomach issues had been, but now am thinking it might be because of it

Yes, I took it for years as Benicar, and for the last two years as generic olmesartan, and have had really no side-effects. It seems helpful, though it works better with a diuretic and sometimes a beta blocker, too.

I think they all have some sort of side effect .
