Does anyone take propranolol for anxiety?

I'm on 50mg zoloft going into my fourth week. I saw my doctor yesterday and she suggested propranolol for my anxiety instead of the benzos. Anybody take it.

    I take propranolol 20mg twice a day. I tried to take more due to anxiety but it brought my pulse down to 58. So I had to stay at the same. I do take benzodiazepines if I can’t sleep.

    I’m also on Sertraline 125.mg. But my anxiety comes back in the evening and increase my blood pressure.  So I may need to go to 150.

      im the same, feel better in morning but come evening anyity goes up. im on 150mg

    I used propanol with Sertraline at first and yes it helped me , it just slows your heart rate so helps prevent that panicky feeling you get with anxiety, I stopped taking it approx 2 months in with the Sertraline x
