I have been incontinent for 18 months now after a TURP so can appreciate your problem, and am fortunate that keeping up the exercises has meant in the last week I am now dry at night, but have to wear pads in the day because of dribbling.  The reason I am dry at night is because I now self cath last thing at night to ensure I am empty before bed, and water retained was causing urine infection as well.  Got to go shortly for further resection as prostate growing back in , so may be back to square one. Hope you get progress soon.

It is common to be incontentment for months post op.

I was incontinent for 3 months and wore pads of varying grades.

    Have patience.

stop drinking liquids 4 hrs before bedtime.

that way you'll stay dry at night.

dont under-drink during the day in order to stay dry. That will starve your kidneys.

wear pads and in time you'll learn to control your flow.

to my mind anything like using a catheter will only delay your ability to return to normal continence because your bladder will stop working correctly and expect the catheter to do all the work.
