does everyone put on weight after gallbladder removal

HI EVERYONE, I have been told that you always put on weight after gallbladder removal , I am due to have mine out in May but I have problems losing weight now , I could do with some reassurence that putting on weight isn't always a problem and that if you stick to a low fat diet you can still manage to lose it , I have 3 stone to lose now so putting on even more would really depress me.

    Hi

I've put on 21 pounds in a year since removal  but I have enjoyed myself ...it hasn't gone on for no reason...

    I have over indulged

so the key is don't stuff after

so hard when you can eat foods you haven't been able to eat for years ...

I have experienced the opposite. I actually have been losing weight since sticking with a low fat, low carb diet.  Good luck!
