Hi
Sept 10,2020
I developed severe pain lower back and bilateral pain in both thighs also muscle twitching in both legs. I then developed pain in neck and between shoulder blades and also pain and weakness in both arms..Pain seems more severe at night.
Went to er was sent home with a diagnose of unspecified pain syndrome.Saw my reg doc who sent me to a neurologist. Neuro did a emg and muscle testing in both arms and legs..Was told legs are fine and carpet tunnel in both arms..Brought up GBS and was told no.Saw another Neuro was told fibromyalgia and was given consult to a rheumatologist. Rheumatologist told me that fibromyalgia doesn't strike like that and that she didn't think I had fibro..
These symptoms have been going on now for over 100 days and there's no improvement if anything worse as now I have also developed some shortness of breath..My gp has tested me for covid twice both times have been negative..I am still able to walk but I have a difficult time doing so .I am off balance ,thighs hurt, legs feel weak..
I am suffering here with no diagnose ..
Could this be GBS?If so will it eventually go away even tho I have had no treatment? What i have read in the medical literature is that GBS always only progresses for up to four weeks and then plauteas. And also that treatment is only truly effective if done so during the first 2 weeks..
if this is GBS this far out do I have to worry about it paralyzing my respiratory system?

Exercise and stretch your lower back.
