I take omega3 supplements , which is in gelatin capsules, somebody informed that capsule is made up of collagen. so i would like to ask does this capsule provide some collagen to be used by body.

Basically yes ,gelatin is made from heating collagen. However collagen is much more easily absorbed than gelatin. So if you want a collagen supplement, take collagen and dont rely on the gelatin shell which is minimal.
