Does liver/galbladder ultrasound check the pancreas?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have been getting pain under right rib for a while but last week or so i am getting white peanut size in my stool.

I have been constipated for a long time and when i search these symptoms it is coming up as pancreatis cancer. I had a liver/galbladder scan 3 months ago would they check the pancreas? Also had full abdominal scan 9 months ago would it have shown up then?

I am hoping i am being paranoid but really worried.

Thanks in advance for reply

have you looked at issues to with gallbladder. Google can be good at information. But also can be bad. Don't rely on google.

Have you ever had pancreatitis ?

Believe me and other's on here you would know.

No, i dont think i have ever had Pancreatis, they say the galbladder is fine and putting the pain under right rib down to constipation.

Apparently the bowel bend under there, i have the doctors tomorrow and will get more of an idea then.

believe me when we say you would know what pancreatitis is. its a pain like no other and during attacks can and is officially recorded as worse than labour.

I hope you find the answer and that it is nowt to do with your pancreas

you would need a CT scan to pick up cancer of the panscreas, back pain is common with this condition, so check with your doctor or specialist and book a CT scan to look for pancreatic cancer and make sure. Don't forget to keep us posted, there is a lot of help on this forum...re suggestion from robin about pancreatitis.

    Blessings,
