Does menieres cause lightheadedness?

I feel like I should know this by now but my health anxiety is getting the best of me.

Lately my head has felt really heavy and today I got lightheaded. My ears have been ringing and my left one felt full yesterday. Ugh.

The lightheadedness scared me today. I thought I was going to pass out I even got hot and sweaty. Is that unusual?

Thanks y'all.

Hi Hayhue all your symptons are what we all here on this forum are experiencing especially when you first have the condition. Its horrid I know. You feel like you are trapped in your own head.  The lightheadness still scares me 8 months on and catches me unaware at times.  Try Cinnazinne if your conditon is not comfortable wished Id tried it earlier.  It's a travel sickness pill and does help. Betahistamine which you get from the doctor suppresses the sensations but wont cure it and could make it take longer to heal. But we do have lives to get on with so yes I have used it.  Came off it two weeks ago and tried Vertifree from Amazon and it does help my symptons.  If you get bad headaches then Naxproxen is good but don't take it more than two days as with medication it can cause stomach problems. The usual headache tablets just made me more sick hated them.  Cut down process foods and sugar and get plenty of rest when you can. For ringing in the ears I tried meditation music when I wanted to slepp it really did the trick. Plenty of pillows to prop you up does help too.  Drink plenty of water too. I did hear about reducing sodium but my doctor said if your kidneys are ok you didn't need too.  But I use sea salt which is not as processed as tablet salt.

Hope that helps and remember we are all here to help each other.

Thank you! I have to travel in the next several months and I'll keep all of those in mind!
