Hi, I'm from Philippines. This is my first time asking question about PCOS in a forum. I was diagnosed last week with Polycystic Ovaries. Both ovaries have more than 25 cyst and measuring less than 1cm each. Here's my question, Does Pap Smear is adviceable for a PCOS patient? Is it possibleto remove the cyst by Pap test?

Pcos is removed through lifestyle change( exercise, diet, enough sleep) and through medication like glucophage, clomid, pills, duphaston, etc)

Papsmear checks your cervix for any abnormalities and cervical cancer. Your ovaries are not that close to your cervix. To actually remove the cysts, they have to do surgery or they pop on their own. As suggested by ampalayaG, life style modifications helps. And there are some prescription medications available to treat PCOS as well.
